Dino Spike Improvements

So I really LOVED the dino hat pattern I got recently . . . all except the spikes! They were mini cones - which made it really hard for me to figure out where to put the beginning stitches and how to make them all uniform. So I spent an evening watching a movie - trying to make triangles . . . and finally figured out a way - and it's simple!!! If you want the directions - let me know . . .
